Summer Camp
Our Summer Camp fosters creativity while ensuring a fun experience for all attendees. With a commitment to individualized attention, our small student-teacher ratios guarantee tailored support for every camper, with classes grouped by age. Our age-specific groupings ensure activities are suitable and encouragement is maximized. With fresh projects each week, students engaging in multiple sessions won’t repeat any assignments. Daily, participants delve into diverse mediums like clay, watercolors, acrylic painting, pastels, and more, igniting their passion for artistic exploration.
Located in Potomac and Bethesda, Artworks offers full-day camps from 9 am to 3 pm at both sites. Each location provides a vibrant environment where students thrive.

Calling all Teen Artists
Teen Camp
Our Teen Program offers a transformative journey alongside creative-minded peers. This program is designed for ages 13 – 17 which hones artistic talents and nurtures intellectual curiosity with a passion for creating meaningful art. This camp is perfect for teens who are interested in expanding their college application portfolio or simply creative growth.
Teens will engage in a dynamic blend of live instruction, independent studio time, and a rich array of materials. During the camp, students will receive continuous support, mentorship, and feedback from Artworks staff. Additionally, they will cultivate a supportive community of peers through critiques and collaborative projects.
The Teen Camp is only offered at the Bethesda location.

- 8:50 – 9:05: Drop off
- 9:10 am-10:25 am: Project I
- 10:25-10:55 am: Break for Snack and Outdoor Activities
- 10:55-12:15 pm: Project II
- 12:15 pm-1:15 pm: Lunch, Games, and Outdoor Activities
- 1:15 pm-2:30 pm: Project III
- 2:30 pm-2:45 pm: Clean up
- 2:45 pm – 3 pm: Pick-up
