Birthday parties run an hour and a half. They are split into 60 minutes of art instruction, 20 minutes of refreshment and 10 minutes of an art show where we give positive reinforcement to everyones work. All birthday goers get to finish a pastel picture that they can take home. The art instruction includes a brief look at how to build a picture in a easy to follow, step by step process, reviewing techniques of drawing, color, tones, texture and detail. Parents are encouraged to attend the brief art show towards the last 10 minutes.
