Artworks camp is filled with fun activities ages 6-17.

Artworks will be holding camp at both Bethesda and McLean locations. If you dont see your week in McLean but have a group that is interested, please call us to schedule to your need.

The 1st week in Bethesda is a 3 day camp June 13-18

  • Before April 1st
    • $300/student (10% discount for each sibling)
    • One students 3rd Week and more (10% discount per each week after/including 3rd week)
  • After April 1st
    • $315/student (10% discounts for each sibling)
    • $220 June 13-15 and $240 July 2-6 (closed on th 4th of July)
    • One students 3rd Week and more (10% discount per each week after/including 3rd week)
    • Extended day $25/day or $100/week
    • Lunch $5/day (includes snack, drink, side and a choice of pizza slice, hot dog or turkey sandwich)

Teen Ages 13-18

  • Before April 1st
    • $300/student (5% sibling discount)
    • Include metro fare for field trip, lunch money required
  • After April 1st
    • $320/student (5% sibling discount)
    • $240 July 2-6 (closed on th 4th of July)
    • Includes metro fare for field trip, lunch money required
    • Extended Day $25/day or $100/week
    • Lunch $5/day (includes snack, drink, side and a choice of pizza slice, hot dog or turkey sandwich)

Payment in full is required to reserve the space. 70% refund before 15 May 2012.

The camp is split into a younger group and older group. If your child is attending Artworks with a friend thats older or younger, please let us know to group them.

The day consists of:

    • 9am-10:15am (Pastel drawing)
    • 10:30-10:40 (Break for snack, and outside/attic)
    • 10:40-12pm (Morning Project)
    • 12pm-1pm (Lunch, Games, Outside/Attic)
    • 1pm-2:30pm (Afternoon Project)
    • 2:30pm-2:45pm (Clean up)
    • 2:45pm -3pm (Getting ready for pick up)

 

The teen camp is perfect for students who wish to build their portfolio with hands on instruction from the teacher.

On Monday they will go to a different museum each week on a fun filled field trip.Each day consists of mostly plien air painting with both water colors and oils. Students will observe three dimensional subject matter and learn different techniques to create.
